Privacy is incredibly important to us - it’s one of the core tenets of 4Ducks Budget. You could even call privacy the ‘fifth duck’, or ‘duck zero’. In a nutshell, we don’t want your personal information. So we collect the absolute bare minimum necessary for processing transactions. We do not sell it to anyone, and we don’t use it for ad targeting.
4Ducks Budget works fully offline and does not require an account. By default your budget data stays on your device and we collect no personal information.
If you turn on 4Ducks Sync (optional), we store your account email, your encrypted budget data, and a random per-install identifier (which marks the device that last changed your data) on our behalf — via Supabase — so it can sync across your devices, and Paddle, our merchant of record, processes your subscription payment. You can stop syncing and delete this data at any time.
Crash reporting is on by default so we can spot and fix problems in the app. If the app runs into an error, we collect anonymized diagnostic information — such as the error, your operating system and app version, and your device model — via Sentry. This never includes your budgets, income, expenses, or any information that personally identifies you, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.
Tygertec LLC does not allow advertising companies to collect 4Ducks Budget data for ad targeting.
This privacy policy was last updated on July 5, 2026. If we make any material changes to our policies, we will place a prominent notice within the app.
Just like the mobile apps, simply browsing the website 4ducksbudget.app doesn’t collect, store, or share any of your personal information. We don’t use any third-party analytics or tracking.
