If you request a refund within 14 days of a charge, we’ll refund it in full — no questions asked. This applies to your most recent charge, whether it’s your first payment or a renewal.
This policy covers the optional 4Ducks Sync subscription. (If you bought the 4Ducks Budget app itself from an app store, refunds for that one-time purchase are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies — not here.)

Once a refund is issued, your 4Ducks Sync subscription ends and your devices stop syncing new changes to each other.
Your budget is never deleted. It stays on each of your devices, and the app keeps working offline exactly as before — including the local .4dbudget backup. A refund cancels the service; it never touches your data.
Sync renews automatically so it keeps working without interruption. If an automatic renewal catches you by surprise, the 14-day guarantee has you covered: just ask within 14 days of the renewal charge and we’ll refund it.
To avoid future renewals altogether, cancel before your next billing date using the account-management link in your receipt. Cancelling stops future charges; it doesn’t, on its own, refund a charge already made — but the 14-day guarantee still applies.
This guarantee is offered in addition to any rights you have under the law where you live, and it never reduces them.
For example, consumers in the EU and UK generally have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase. Where such rights apply, you keep them in full, regardless of this policy.
Payments and refunds for 4Ducks Sync are handled by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Refunds are returned to your original payment method and typically appear within a few business days, depending on your bank or card provider. The charge and the refund will show on your statement under Paddle (or a similar descriptor).
